On Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 4:28 AM, Luis ACOSTA-ESCOBAR was shot and killed immediately south of The Box Office located at 531 Pelissier Street in Windsor, Ontario.  The Box Office is also known as "Club 112".  The shooting took place following an altercation on the sidewalk just north of The Box Office.  The suspect fled running westbound towards Victoria.  A white hat, brown jacket, and a white t-shirt were found in the direction that the suspect fled.  A further search of the crime scene area yielded the recovery of a small revolver which is believed to be the murder weapon.

As a result of the investigation and the assistance of several witnesses, it has been determined that Mohamud Abukar HAGI, of no fixed address, is responsible for this murder.

HAGI is wanted for First Degree Murder and a Canada Wide Warrant has been issued.  HAGI is believed to be in the Province of Ontario at this time.

Extreme caution should be used if you know this person's whereabouts.  He is considered "armed and extremely dangerous".  Do not approach him.  Call 9-1-1 immediately. 

The Windsor Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in apprehending this individual.  If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of HAGI, or any additional photos of HAGI to submit, please use one or more of the options below to relay the information to the Windsor Police Service.  Photos of HAGI may be submitted by email, or they may be hand delivered or mailed to Windsor Police Service (Attn. Det. Jason Belanger), 150 Goyeau Street, Windsor, Ontario, CANADA.  They may also be submitted to the Windsor Police Facebook Group listed below in the "LINKS" section.  They will be posted here upon receipt.

On Friday, January 11, 2008, a $5000.00 REWARD was posted for any information leading to the arrest of HAGI.
